About the Role
This position exists to provide leadership and direction to a team
of sales support professionals in the legal technology industry.
The towering objectives are to increase LexisNexis preference with
corporate attorneys and to increase "active users," customer
satisfaction, and market engagement in the Corporate Legal
Market.
Responsibilities
Manage team performance by setting appropriate expectations,
monitoring performance and giving timely and effective
feedback.
Maximize the potential of every team member to contribute to the
goals and objectives of LexisNexis by serving as a coach,
facilitator, functional resource and leader.
Identify and address coaching opportunities and performance issues
in an effective and timely manner.
Develop relationships with key support providers within the
LexisNexis organization.
Develop strategic contacts and business relationships with key
individuals within the region.
Identify operational and process inefficiencies and respond with
strategic, data-driven solutions
Ensure timely and effective follow through with National Large Law
Marketing Strategies within region.
Effectively allocate sales resources to maximize input on overall
region.
Achieve expense control objectives.
Requirements
Have a JD or MBA or equivalent experience.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have 5-8 years of professional selling or sales support experience;
2-3 years of sales management experience a plus.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build
effective and influential working relationships across our
organization.
Have a demonstrated track-record of developing Key Performance
Indicators and Metrics Reporting
