The Quality Manager is responsible for setting the strategic vision
for the Company as it relates to quality, while leading a team of
high performers within the Quality department. The ideal Quality
Manager is able to work with individuals throughout the
organization to design, implement, and monitor the Company’s
quality system. The Quality Manager is expected to foster deep
relationships with customers and will have a direct line of
communication with customers to design quality programs and resolve
quality issues. In addition, the Quality Manager will be deeply
involved with new product launches to ensure all quality criteria
is considered and implemented to ensure successful new product
introductions. This individual must also be a great leader and able
to communicate with both the executive leadership team and
production floor associates. Being a team player and a leader

Working with other departments and associates of all levels of the
Company is a critical aspect of the role. In doing so, the
individual must be able to form strong relationships with
individuals from all areas of the Company and leverage those to
achieve departmental and Company objectives. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities : Lead the quality department in the determination
and execution of the strategic direction of the department in
support of overall corporate goals. Provide status updates on the
Company’s quality systems to executive management and the Board of
Advisors, as requested. Investigate emerging trends and
technologies to ensure the constant advancement of the Company’s
quality systems and processes. Lead problem investigations and
drive corrective actions for internal and external quality
complaints. Lead the development of quality system and process
documentation. Serve as a primary point of contact for key
customers while developing relationships at various levels within a
customer’s organization. Participate in Customer visits to build
relationships, demonstrate Company capabilities and/or address
quality issues Participate in routine communications with customers
regarding complaint investigations and resolutions. Lead the design
of quality programs and assist in the overall project management
for new product launches Be in daily communication with
manufacturing management/supervision to ensure conformance to
quality systems as well as drive corrective actions. Assist in the
training of manufacturing personnel on the plant floor quality
systems. Maintain an effective working relationship within and
between Company departments. Ability to wear required PPE. Skills,
Qualifications, Education and/or Relevant Experience : Required
Four-year Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical
discipline. Ability to use of standard measurement equipment (e.g.
micrometer, caliper, spectrophotometer, etc.) Experience with, and
working understanding of: ERP systems and other quality related
computer programs Part print reading Statistical Process Control
Six Sigma techniques 3 years of professional experience Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment Excellent problem-solving
abilities and mathematical aptitude Strong computer skills
including Microsoft applications Desired Experience with
programming advanced measurement equipment (e.g. 360 degree laser
measurement systems) Supervisory Responsibilities : 3 quality
engineeres, quality inspection coordinator, and quality lab
