Job Description US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED#LI-NP1To perform
Shipping, Receiving, and Purchasing duties/activities in support of
company operations.The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays
a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program
execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial
operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art
manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities
management.What You'll Do:
- Receive, sort, control, and issue material to various
departments.
- Perform various physical inventories from planning through
reporting (i.e., plan, schedule, perform, reconcile, justify, and
report).
- Perform computer data entry and retrieval on company systems
related to shipping, receiving, and purchasing and word processing
tasks.
- Perform program support activities such as material transfers
and program closeouts.
- Load and unload material from vehicles (not exceeding 40
pounds).
- Consult and assist Programs/Departments on packaging
requirements and scheduling for shipping arrangements (i.e., small
parcel, freight, hazmat, and dangerous goods).
- Follow all guidelines, policy, work instruction and documents
published in the Business Process Library (BPL).
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure use of Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Review and verify paperwork received i.e., packing slips,
email, or other instructions/requests to determine the work to be
performed is accurate and in accordance with shipping/receiving
requirements.
- Resolve/escalate material discrepancies by reconciling overages
or shortages and communicating/reporting to senior leadership.
- Demonstrate initiative and multi-task in a sometimes fast-paced
environment.
- Respond to routine and non-routine inquiries.
- Work with some degree of independence in terms of work
schedules and job duties. May set priorities on some items.
- May gather and assist in the interpretation and analysis of
data for departmental needs.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and good motor vehicle
record.
- Operate company owned vehicles as required.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within
the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic
Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with
others in order to maintain a positive and productive work
environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work
location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and
other possible non-company locations may be required.Working
Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office or receiving/shipping dock
environment . Hourly Rate: $23.56 - $31.13Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years or more related
experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 4 years or more
related experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's,
may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be
from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an
agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department
of Education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- As this position requires operating a company vehicle, an offer
and subsequent employment are contingent upon possessing and
maintaining a valid US driver's license and successful completion
of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. A security clearance or
access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this
position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for
submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is
accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable
clearance/access.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $49000 -
$64750Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
