Description:Smyth Auto Parts is a privately held automotive aftermarket company, owned and operated by the Smyth family since it was founded by George Smyth over 60 years ago. Today this family-owned operation has over 500,000 square feet of warehouse inventory space (and growing) filled with over one million parts including OE, performance, and accessory parts. Smyth also carries a complete line of tools and equipment for the "do it yourself" and professional installers. With a motto of "Right Part. Right Price. Right Now."Smyth is looking for an ecommerce fulfillment associate who is passionate about providing outstanding customer experience and has a keen eye for detail. This role is ideal for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on a key role in our company.Requirements:Responsibilities:Inspect outgoing shipments to customers, verifying accuracy of contents and ensuring proper documentation is present.Prepare outgoing shipments, transferring/ordering parts including picking, packing, and labeling items.Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.Attendance is required, avoid absentee and tardy problems.Strong attention to detail.Assumes other duties as assigned.Hours would be 9am - 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm (Monday - Friday) occasional Saturday is possible.Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent.Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Strong organizational and time management skills.Knowledge of the software SHIPSTATION.Excellent oral and written communications skills required.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work on multiple simultaneous tasks throughout the day.Able to work independently and within a team.Have good time management skills.PI7e345056ffe6-25660-37756571
