Killer Brownie Co., renowned for its decadently layered gourmet brownies, is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As part of the larger Dorothy Lane Market family, the right candidate will ensure our production facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance, reflecting our commitment to quality and safety. The Sanitation Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation by overseeing the sanitation operations and ensuring all processes are executed efficiently. Establish and implement sanitation policies and procedures that meet health and safety standards Oversee the daily cleaning of the production equipment and facility to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Train and manage a team of sanitation workers; schedule and coordinate staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are properly cleaned and maintained Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess cleanliness and compliance Collaborate with production managers to minimize downtime and ensure seamless cleaning operations Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of sanitation activities Stay updated on new cleaning methods, equipment, and technology to continually improve the sanitation process Handle and oversee the disposal of waste according to environmental guidelines Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with sanitation regulations and safety standards Strong leadership and people management skills Ability to train and motivate staff Good problem-solving and organizational skills Attention to detail Certification in Sanitation and Safety preferred Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe)
