Payrate: $18 hr with $1 shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift: 8 hour shift Paid training Full time hours Clean and safe work environment Opportunity for permanent placement. What will you be doing? Operate vehicle to transport materials to and from specified destinations in a safe and efficient manner. Receive cargo from incoming trucks by removing from truck by hand, or using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack, or by using forklift. Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to refuse or accept with notation. Record receipts to appropriate forms and/or log books. Verify that proper documentation is attached and resolve discrepancies. Ensure that freight is labeled accurately to destination. What do you bring? Positive, can-do attitude Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Minimum three years related experience. Minimum two years industry experience, preferred. Forklift Driver Certification; Valid state issued driver’s license, preferred. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Ability to drive and/or operate heavy equipment. Ability to operate forklift, hand truck and pallet jack. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs and requests for service and assistance. Ability to command and control workflow processes. Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documentation. Ability to distribute work assignments, provide direction and train employees.
