Job Description We are seeking a Permanent Physician - Hospitalist - OB in Ohio. Permanent Physician - Hospitalist - OB Position Type: Permanent Specialty: Physician - Hospitalist - OB Location: Ohio Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts covering days and nights, including weekend and holiday rotations Start Date: Open End Date: N/A Position Details: Patient Population: Obstetrical and gynecologic patients, including high-risk pregnancies and complex cases Setting: In-house coverage across three hospital campuses within Mount Carmel Health System Responsibilities: - Provide in-house coverage as OB/GYN hospitalist - Supervise and teach residents on Labor & Delivery units - Manage medically complex, high-risk pregnancies - Perform gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomy - Participate in emergency OB coverage and advanced obstetrical surgeries - Collaborate with Graduate Medical Education teams to enhance resident education - Engage with the community and support Mount Carmel’s mission Required Procedures: Gynecologic surgeries, advanced obstetrical surgeries, high-risk pregnancy management EMR System: Not specified Support Staff: Residents, GME faculty, and multidisciplinary hospital teams Days Per Month: Rotating schedule with 2 weekend shifts per month On-Call/Weekends: No separate on-call; in-house hospitalist covers L&D and emergencies; 2 weekend shifts/month Submission Requirements: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology – Required - Ohio license or willing to obtain – Required - Clean malpractice and license history – Required - DEA or able to obtain – Required - Willing to rotate between all 3 sites – Required - Does the provider require visa support (J1/H1B) – Required to note (visa sponsorship is not offered) - Candidate must demonstrate strong interest in team-based obstetrical care, education, and high-risk pregnancy management – Required Join us today!
