What We Offer • Supportive, team-focused culture • Comprehensive benefits effective the first of the month • 401(k) with generous company match • Generous PTO accruals • Paid holidays • Mileage reimbursement • Tuition reimbursement • Employee referral program • Hospice certification benefit with salary increase • Merit-based pay increases • Night shift differential • Employee discount programs What You’ll Do • Provide direct patient care in alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act • Deliver skilled nursing care based on comprehensive assessments and individualized plans of care • Document patient services accurately and promptly • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and symptom management • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, holistic care • Provide effective pain and symptom management and evaluate patient responses What You Bring • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program • Three years of nursing experience (hospice, community health, or med-surg preferred) • Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice • Current CPR certification • Strong communication and organizational skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle • Understanding of the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill If you’re looking for a role where your work is meaningful, your team is supportive, and your schedule gives you room to breathe, Queen City Hospice is ready to welcome you.
