Minimum 2 years License: Valid compact or state license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with cardiac and IV
insulin gtt preferred Epic experience required Telemetry skills and
interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias and use
of Rapid Response/Code teams Peripheral line care and management
Nasal cannula and oxygen administration Description: Weekdays and
some weekends required. Must float within units of equivalent or
lower level of acuity. Unit has 24 beds, with 9 designated for
cardiac stepdown. Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-5. Unit
encompasses 9 Progressive Care Unit and 15 medical-surgical beds.
Daily census averages 22.81 patients. Patient diagnoses include
cardiac-related conditions such as chest pain, heart failure, and
EKG changes. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical
therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid
response teams. Special equipment includes bedside monitors in
Progressive Care Unit rooms. Weekend coverage is necessary with
every other weekend commitment. Candidates must complete
fingerprinting as soon as the contract is signed. Two professional
references are required; one reference must be from a manager or
director. Current employees are ineligible for this position.
Education must be from an accredited program. Requirements Required
