is a non-profit organization located in Glendale, OH. Our sole
purpose is to serve others within our local community through our
ministries. We are actively seeking an LPN or RN who can work all
shifts on a PRN basis. The LPN or RN Staff Nurse is a licensed
nurse who provides nursing/resident care under the direction of the
Director of Nursing to meet standards of professional care as
established. Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for
supervising and coordinating the medical care and activities
performed by STNAs, Infirmary Assistant, and transportation worker
in the absence of or direction from the DON.
Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible under the direction of the DON
for supervision of nurse aides as assigned. Assists Sisters with
all medical or therapeutic needs per scope of practice. Assists in
or performs direct nursing care. Communicates with outside
healthcare providers as needed or directed by DON or physician.
Network with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
Promotes team environment; reports pertinent information at change
of shift. Documents on all Infirmary sisters during scheduled
shift. Reports on safety concerns as needed. Other duties as
assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of healthcare
environments. Maintains the standards of nursing practice in the
Infirmary. Demonstrates skills in effective management of nurse
aides and delegation of tasks. Assesses the quality of care
rendered. Ability to assess and prioritize tasks, projects, and
demands in a timely manner. Excellent organizational skills.
Education and Experience: Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered
Nurse with a current state license. At least 1 years' experience
required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and
moving. Maintain proper body mechanics and use assistive equipment
as needed (lifts, gait belts). Must be able to lift 50 pounds at
times with or without accommodation. Possible exposure to bodily
