The Role We are seeking an experienced 1st Shift Lead Pharmacy Technician to supervise and support our team during dayshift operations. This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician who thrives in a leadership position, enjoys problem-solving, and can manage workflow with independence when senior management is not onsite. What You'll Do - Supervise and coach pharmacy technicians during 1st shift operations. - Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions in compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies. - Resolve workflow issues, quality control concerns, and prescription discrepancies in collaboration with pharmacists. - Lead dayshift handoffs, ensuring smooth communication between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. - Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards. - Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance coaching for 1st shift staff. - Serve as the primary point of contact for dayshift operations.
