Registered Nurse (RN) | Mother Baby Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,997 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid state RN license required Certifications: BLS, IV certification Must-Have: - IV start skills - Labor & delivery (L&D) experience - EPIC experience Description: Schedule may float to a unit with similar acuity. This position requires three 12-hour shifts, 12 days every two weeks, totaling 36 hours per week. Patient ratios during the day are 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients). Patient ratios on nights and weekends are similarly 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients). Floating to different units within the organization may be required. Minimal charge experience preferred. Knowledge of the charting system is required. Experience with both vaginal and cesarean section deliveries is essential. The unit provides family-centered care to women and infants. Nurses will work with neonates and adult patients. Daily census is approximately 60 patients. Special procedures include care for NAS infants and postpartum readmits, such as wound infections and preeclampsia. Professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor. Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program. All candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process in accordance with state regulations. Travelers must be responsive and cooperative during credentialing to avoid delays. Locals are accepted at the same rate, with time off requests required during submission.
