independently read and interpret telemetry strips Description: We
are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy
renal Med-Surg unit. The unit specializes in the care of patients
with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and
complex medical-surgical conditions. This high-acuity unit manages
a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring,
frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal
candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications
while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient
turnover. Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive
nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients. The
candidate will manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic
kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs. Monitoring and
interpreting cardiac telemetry is a key responsibility.
Collaboration with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to
optimize patient outcomes is essential. The candidate may float as
needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units. Additional
competencies include strong critical thinking, adaptability, and
efficiency in a high-volume setting. Epic EMR proficiency is
mandatory, and lack of proficiency may result in termination.
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to
prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Holiday coverage is
