Critical Care Physicians PRN / Full-Time Ohio A Level II Trauma Center is seeking PRN and full-time Critical Care Physicians to provide weekend ICU coverage , starting as soon as credentialed. OPEN DATES February 27 March 2 April May 2 3 June August 1 2 August September October 3 4 October ? MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY SCHEDULE Friday evening/night call Saturday day rounding Saturday evening/night call Sunday day rounding PRACTICE DETAILS Practice Setting: Inpatient 18-bed closed ICU with night call Trauma Level: Level II EMR: Epic ICU Census: critically ill patients APC support with IM / FM / EM residents Average ICU Patients/Day: 18 Average Admissions/Day: 3 4 Non-ICU Patients: 0 Hospital Size: 425 beds total ICU Beds: 18 Critical Care Physicians in Group: 5 Coverage Reason: Weekend coverage (full-time intensivist works Monday Friday) ? RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision of APCs and residents Teaching involvement with IM, FM, and EM residents Full-scope ICU care including: Cardiac, neuro, trauma, medical, and surgical cases Ventilation management (ETT/NT/Trach, BiPAP, CPAP) Procedures: Central lines, arterial lines, PA catheters Diagnostic/Therapeutic taps: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture ? CREDENTIALING Estimated timeframe: days ? TRAVEL & LODGING Standard/economy travel only Lodging cap: $150/night Any overages require prior facility approval SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Board Certified / Board Eligible REQUIRED Pulmonary Critical Care preferred (all critical care trained physicians considered) Ohio State License REQUIRED BLS & ACLS REQUIRED Flu Vaccine REQUIRED at credentialing COVID Vaccine Highly Preferred Specific availability must be listed REQUIRED
