Pathology Opening in Dayton, OHFull TimePermanent PositionEmployed OpportunitySeeking BC/BE full-time pathologists to join evolving private practice in Dayton, Ohio, with 13 pathologists providing services for a 900 bed Level 1 trauma hospital, multiple regional hospitals, independent GI/GU/Heme labs, and a large outreach clinical laboratory.Practice Highlights:Robust Hematopathology practice with an extensive immunohistochemistry departmentMolecular studies, including FISH and PCR, for hematologic and solid tumorsStrong collaboration with radiology for CT/US-guided biopsiesResponsibilities:Handle surgical pathology cases, frozen sections, and quick assessments/immediate readsCytopathology cases include pap smears, non-gyns, and FNAsClinical laboratory duties include interpretation of peripheral blood smears, hemoglobin electrophoresis, SPEP, and UPEPCall responsibilities include frozen sections and general clinical laboratory dutiesNo autopsies requiredThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, respected pathology group with a diverse case mix and strong institutional support.
