Opportunity – Oncology Intermediate Care Nurse – Ohio Start Date:
February 23, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 24/7 unit staffing with
3-4 patient ratio; orientation includes 76 hours; float to
Emergency Department as needed Highlights: Work in a unique
Intermediate Care Center specializing in hematology, oncology, and
sickle cell patients Manage a diverse patient population with both
urgent and non-urgent conditions in a less acute setting than
traditional emergency care EPIC charting system required; 14-bed
unit with daily census of 14 patients Scheduled appointment-based
patient flow from primary teams, oncologists, radiation, infusion,
or home Smaller unit environment fostering strong staff
relationships and supportive team culture Comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
required EPIC charting system experience required Active RN license
(Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Flu vaccine required
(medical exemptions only) Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE
accredited nursing program Two professional references required,
including at least one from a manager, director, or formal
supervisor Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently

dehydration, all while being supported by Advanced Practice
Providers, Emergency Department physicians, and a full
