PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered

Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (05:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum
of 2 years in a relevant nursing specialty License: Valid compact
or state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
required Must-Have: Previous charge experience, knowledge of
charting systems Description: This position requires providing
specialized care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The primary need
is for day shifts, including weekends, from 05:00 to 17:30. There
is no call requirement for this role. Weekend requirements involve
working 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule. Candidates must possess
experience with telemetry and ventilated patients. Level 1 trauma
experience is preferred but not mandatory. The unit supports
various clinical activities with interdisciplinary teams. Daily
patient census ranges from 30 to 50. Patient age groups served
include adults and geriatrics. Staffing provides a ratio of 2
patients per nurse during day shifts. Specific skills required
include care of ventilated patients, general anesthesia management,
and IV vasopressors. This role emphasizes teamwork and
collaboration in patient management. All candidates must comply
with credentialing requirements promptly. References from previous
employers are required as part of the onboarding process. 5
