Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified PCU RN in Dayton, Ohio, 45409! Pay Information $2,199 per
week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5
years in SD or PCU License: Valid state RN license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Ventilator experience,
EKG tele competency assessment, IV start preferred Description: The
assigned unit participates in a team nursing model where RNs, LPNs,
and PCTs collaborate to care for a group of patients. Nurses may
function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on
unit needs. Experience in a staffing ratio of 1:4-6 is required.
The unit provides care for diverse patient populations, including
those experiencing cerebrovascular accidents, transient ischemic
attacks, and seizures. Travelers will be the first to float at the
facility's discretion. Assignments may include floating to
high-risk respiratory care or other appropriate assignments. Nurses
will be responsible for staffing patient beds and supporting the
nursing care team. Nurses must be available to work weekends and
holidays. RTO requests must be submitted with the initial
application, and no revisions will be allowed after the offer. No
more than 14 days of RTO are permitted during the contract period.
