Affirmations Psychological Services, part of the Optum family of
businesses is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team in
Columbus, OH. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you'll

As a Licensed Therapist, you will treat a wide variety of mental
health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse client
population. We offer a variety of solutions that meet the unique
needs of our workforce and the patients they serve. From clinical
operations such as credentialing to business operations such as
contracting, we provide organizational support that allows our
providers to focus on what matters - providing care. -
This position offers the ability to split your time between seeing
clients in person at one of our downtown Columbus offices and via
telehealth at home. Candidates must live within commuting distance
of Columbus, OH. You will have the ability to create your schedule
to meet your needs and the needs of the clients. -
Primary Responsibilities:
Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance
use disorders -
Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various
approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical
behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods
Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for
changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or
complications
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and
clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory
requirements - -

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related counseling
field
Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in the state of
Ohio: LPCC or LISW
Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare
program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to
starting a new position
Reside within commuting distance of Columbus, OH -
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience, post master's degree,
providing behavioral health services
Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals
and families
Experience providing clinical services to diverse clientele such as
individuals identifying as LGBTQIA+ and/or neurodiverse
Experience working with computers for professional communication
and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS or other
Electronic Health Record system (EHRs)
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a
team

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually
based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with
