Dayton Children's south campus emergency department includes 16 beds, a trauma room and 24-hour access. With over 20,000 patient visits per year, Dayton Children's south campus emergency department provides the highest level of customized emergency care for a child seriously hurt or ill.
Department Specific Job Details:

This paramedic role provides emergency patient care in the ED and advanced life support (ALS) transport of pediatric patients from the South Campus ED to the main campus when deemed appropriate. Transport duties will also include psychiatric transports to outlying facilities. Down time will be spent supporting ED patient care or Comm Center functions during hours of assignment. All duties will be in accordance with the Ohio Public Safety Rules regarding location of care, supervision required and ALS transport scope of practice.
