excellence. At Stewart Glass, you will work in a state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility in Logan, Ohio, supporting continuous
24/7/365 operations. We are seeking a Controls Engineer with
industrial manufacturing experience to support electrical systems,
automation, and process optimization in a fast-paced, hands-on
environment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop,
integrate, and implement electrical and control systems supporting
glass manufacturing operations Program, troubleshoot, and maintain
PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and industrial
automation platforms Support installation, testing, commissioning,
and validation of electrical and controls equipment Diagnose and
resolve electrical, automation, and production system issues to
minimize downtime Analyze manufacturing processes to identify
inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements Lead controls
upgrades, automation initiatives, and system optimization projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors
on new equipment installations and process improvements Ensure
compliance with electrical codes, OSHA requirements, safety
standards, and manufacturing best practices Develop and maintain
technical documentation, schematics, procedures, and change records
Provide full-time, on-site, hands-on engineering support in a
continuous manufacturing environment Qualifications 3–5 years of
Controls Engineering experience required , preferably in an
industrial or manufacturing environment Electrical Engineering
background preferred but not required Strong experience with PLC
programming, industrial automation, instrumentation, and control
systems Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation
systems in production environments Familiarity with industrial
electrical codes, safety standards, and OSHA general industry
requirements Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication
skills Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working
independently and collaboratively Shift & Work Schedule Full-time,
exempt, on-site position in Logan, Ohio Night shift role (currently
operating on a days-only training and onboarding schedule) Future
schedule aligned with manufacturing rotations, including: 12-hour
shifts 4-on / 4-off rotation Benefits This is a full-time position
