Job Description Job Description Position Summary We’re seeking a
skilled Industrial Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team of
experienced professionals specializing in hydraulic system repair
and maintenance. In this role, you’ll rebuild, troubleshoot, and
service a variety of hydraulic components—including mobile and
mill-type cylinders, pumps, motors, and related parts—for both OEM
and industrial applications. This position is ideal for a hands-on
technician who takes pride in precision work, safety, and equipment
reliability. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, rebuild, and
maintain hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, hoses, valves, and
fittings Diagnose hydraulic system issues and execute effective
repair solutions Perform preventative maintenance to minimize
equipment downtime and ensure reliable performance Fabricate,
assemble, and test hydraulic components and piping systems Read and
interpret technical documents, including blueprints, schematics,
and manuals Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all
work complies with safety and performance standards, including
proper lockout/tagout procedures Collaborate with team members and
management to resolve issues and improve processes Perform
additional related duties as assigned Tools & Equipment Used Manual
and powered shop tools, precision measuring instruments (e.g.,
calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks) Work Attire:
Shop uniform provided Physical Requirements Regular lifting of up
to 75 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Exposure to noise, dust, fluids, chemicals, and moving machinery
Qualifications Education & Training High School Diploma or GED
required Technical Certification in hydraulics or mechanics
preferred Degree in Engineering Technology a plus Valid Driver’s
License required Experience Minimum 2 years of hydraulic cylinder
repair and mechanical assembly experience Hands-on experience in a
machining, manufacturing, or machine shop environment Familiarity
with heavy industrial components Demonstrated ability to diagnose,
repair, and maintain hydraulic systems Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and
electrical systems Skilled in using hand and power tools, along
with precision measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret
blueprints and technical documents Working knowledge of GD&T
(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Excellent problem-solving
and communication skills Commitment to safety, quality, and
continuous improvement Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour Equal
