Our team is hiring a full-time Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician to support the health, safety, and longevity of trees and landscapes across residential and commercial properties in the area. If you’re ready to build a career in arboriculture - not just punch a clock - we encourage you to apply today! - Monday–Friday full-time positions - Paid time off (PTO) - Medical, vision, and dental insurance - 401(k) retirement plan - Frequent (not guaranteed) overtime opportunities - Comprehensive safety programs for a secure work environment Compensation: $21 - $26 hourly Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate service records, treatment logs, and client documentation - Apply fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and soil treatments following safety and environmental guidelines - Diagnose and treat plant and tree health issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies - Work collaboratively with arborists, crew leaders, and PHC managers to deliver high-quality service - Monitor soil conditions, moisture levels, and overall plant health; recommend improvements as needed Qualifications: - ISA Certified Arborist preferred; certification support provided if not yet obtained - Desire for a long-term role with training and advancement opportunities - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - 1 year of experience in plant health care, tree care, or landscape maintenance - Strong communication skills and attention to detail - ODA 6a Pesticide License preferred or willingness to obtain in 6 months About Company At Ahlum & Arbor, we’re not just in the tree care business—we’re in the people and preservation business.
